The Development Authority of Cherokee County was proud to be an official Partner of Global Entrepreneurship Week, November 16-22, 2009. For one week, men and women around the world gathered to join a movement of entrepreneurial people. During Global Entrepreneurship Week innovative minds generated new ideas and seeked to find better ways of doing things. Countries spanning six continents joined together to celebrate this initiative to inspire young people to embrace innovation, imagination and creativity. During the Global Entrepreneurship Week, the Development Authority of Cherokee County partnering with the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce aided those innovative spirits by having two of our R.S.V.P. (Resource Services from Valuable Professionals) mentors stationed around the county at Holly Springs City Hall, Woodstock City Hall, Canton City Hall, and the Cherokee County Administrative Offices. The mentors handed out flyers about the R.S.V.P. program and starting a newbusiness. For assistance in starting a business please request a business start up kit, click here.
