Matthew (“Hutch”) Hutcheson is a Georgia native. Fresh out of high school, Hutch moved to Nashville, Tennessee and joined the military. While serving, Hutch was assigned to the United States Army Special Operations Command.  He is most proud of being a member of Task Force Dagger, the first American team in Afghanistan to response to the 9/11 attacks.

In 2005, he retired as a result of being combat wounded. Hutch married Leslie, one of the medics that helped take care of him. They have been married for 14 years and have 3 beautiful daughters.

Hutch holds an Automotive Technology Associate of Applied Science Degree and commercial license from Chattahoochee Technical College.  He is an advocate for wounded warrior relief and adolescent education. He enjoys sharing the Be Pro Be Proud experience with students across the state and having the ability to plant seeds that ultimately changes lives.
