Thomas has a unique way of describing his passion for economic development – he likens it to a puzzle with no edges, where you never know which piece will fit where, but he’s determined to piece it all together and create a masterpiece of prosperity! With a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Leipzig and his role as the Director of Membership for the German American Chamber of Commerce, Thomas has been fostering economic ties between German and American enterprises, skillfully connecting German manufacturers with communities in the southern United States. His cross-cultural expertise, being bilingual in German and English, and conversational in French, Spanish, and Russian, allows him to collaborate effectively with stakeholders worldwide, facilitating global understanding and collaboration.

Thomas’s true calling is nurturing entrepreneurship and supporting economic development, demonstrated through his contributions to the Rome Floyd Chamber of Commerce and his role as the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Project Manager. With a diverse background in marketing, sales, and business development, Thomas leads initiatives that ignite innovation, attract businesses, and cultivate a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in Cherokee County.

Beyond his professional achievements, Thomas cherishes his personal life with his wife, a proud Cherokee County native, and their son. As a family, they actively participate in local events, committed to the economic growth and vibrancy of their cherished community. In his downtime, Thomas enjoys running 5K’s, hiking, cooking, and volunteering, embracing a well-rounded and giving lifestyle.
