Hannah Garrison is a native of Waleska, Georgia. After graduating from Cherokee High School, she made the decision to attend college. Unsure of what to major in, Hannah decided on Communication Studies. She wanted to work with people no matter where her career path took her. She believed this specific major would allow her to not only polish her presentation skills but also become more aware of different communication styles, how to communicate more effectively and to build lasting relationships with those in her community.
In December of 2020, she completed her Associate’s Degree in Communication Studies at The University of North Georgia. She then pursued her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies at the University of Georgia, along with a minor in Gerontology. Hannah graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in May 2022. After graduation, she returned home to Cherokee County.
Hannah truly enjoys working with people and getting to know those in her community. She is excited to learn more about economic development alongside the COED team. In her free time, she loves to travel throughout the United States and explore the outdoors. She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her chocolate lab.
